Primary Student Midwife
I grew up in a pretty busy household of five kids. My mother has been a midwife for most of my life so I learned a lot about midwifery growing up although it wasn't until I was a senior in high school that I started to find interest in a career in midwifery. My mother invited me to come to a birth with her one day and my first response to her was "No way!" Obviously I decided to go and from that day on I knew I had found my calling. After I graduated high school I went straight into midwifery school at the Association of Texas Midwives, got certified in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation, and I have been working at the birthing center ever since. I love everything about caring for mothers and babies and I can't wait to see what the future holds at Heavenly Hands!
