Services
We offer the following services to our mothers:
- Prenatal exams at the birth center
- Lab work – OB profile, 28-week iron and blood sugar test, strep-B test, and newborn screens
- Labor monitoring, birth, immediate postpartum and newborn exam
- Postpartum and newborn visits done at 2-5 days after birth, 2 weeks, and 6 weeks
- Six weeks exam including Pap smear and breast exam
- Midwife on call 24/7 or backup arrangement if unavailable.
- Assistant to attend birth
- Ultrasounds
- Birth kit
As with most birthing centers, there is no physician on staff. We have consulting physicians and two OB GYNs who will gladly receive transfer of care if needed.
